This rather conventional design uses just one stainless steel pipe to form the base and arm rests of the design while keeping the upholstered bent plywood for the seat and back.
The elegant lines and flexibility of both the pipe and the plywood makes of this a most comfortable lounge chair.
The arm rests wooden pieces, together with the pipe lower surface surface gives the feeling of an old vintage cadillac from the sixties.
This project is dedicated no my grandfather Friedrich whose incredible interesting variety in furniture design in his apartment served as a motivation for me to become an industrial designer.
