Inspired by the formality of ageing and how this natural process creates individuality and character, my project looks at how the different factors of everyday life have different consequences on the visual and personal aspects of people. Reflecting on these investigations I related this concept to the ageing of materials and how different factors affect different materials in a variety of ways. I looked at how different materials can take the appearance of other
materials and still have their own ageing properties; I took inspiration from Job Smeets.
