Even as you read this, somewhere, some quiet playwright or inspired Romeo is innocently having a coffee and is struck by the Muse. Check pockets...no pen...check again...no paper. "Miss? Can I borrow your pen? That's where this began, and for all the renderings that followed, nothing captured it like this first rough scribble.

Full Custom Illustration Set: Senor Frog's - This series of illustrations was the basis for the Senor Frog's North America brand. Line style, palette, framing... It's a good example of pretty sophisticated style guides applied to a totally goofy subject. These were quite intentionally created in a vacuum with no Mexican samples. The references at hand were just actor headshots. And maybe some tequila. Or Corona. Have fun and keep your eyes open for the Sean Connery and Bruce Wilis frogs in the slideshow.
