One ski binding I worked on in 1999 when I was designer at LOOK / ROSSIGNOL.
The heel part was developed from design to working prototypes. The new design was lighter by using PA6 GF15 plastic instead of the POM previously used. It aslo made it much stronger than the previous model and was impossible to break during lab tests.
The design was used to brief the external design studio who got the final project.
The design I show here is the one I proposed.
