Monterey Air and Monterey Cruise SS16 - Jack Wolfskin
The idea here was to propose a shoe for summer, in the everyday outdoors category.
Since Jack Wolfskin is an outdoor brand, the shoe is designed for outdoor activities.The main functionnality of these models is ventilation, for the hot summers. It also has a drainage system for more breathability and to evacuate water.
My purpose here was not only to design a functional outdoor shoe, but also to give Jack Wolfskin footwear a fresh and up do date design.
For this SS16 collection, my first one with Jack Wolfskin, I started to define the design language and direction for the footwear design, with the "big paw" on the quarter that was decided 2 seasons before but not consistantly executed.
