Silhouette Lamp
The brief was to design and prototype a working model table lamp within the dimensions outlined as 28” x 12” x 12”. We were instructed to use a CNC router and Partworks software in the manufacturing process. I aimed to create a design which would appeal to my target audience which is young adults who live in cities and find beauty in skyscraper building. My design is a scaled down sky scraper inspired design to sit on a table or desk creating an atmospheric light. It would be part of a series of lamps including a medium and larger floor lamps.
