The ‘Twin V Pro’ is a twin charger designed for the professional photography and video markets. It is a compact fold away charger that is kept dust free by the outer cover which doubles as a stand allowing the user to easily keep an eye on the charge levels. The Interchangeable battery contact plates allow the charging of different Li-Ion batteries from a wide range of Digital SLR / video camera manufacturers including Sony, Panasonic, Leica, Samsung, Nikon and Canon.
The major design challenge was to achieve the compact size but still accommodate all battery types/forms as well as the charging electronics in a ventilated housing.
This year the design achieved the Plus X Design Award for Design & Ease of Use.
