Ocean Pulse :: Underwater University
Through destructive fishing practices and rising water temperatures and acidity levels, we humans are killing coral at an alarming rate. This artificial reef, comprised of large-scale waste products encased in a perforated structure, creates a new habitat for marine life forms who have lost their homes. Supported by the reef structure is a university marine science educational facility and public observation grounds. The fish come to the reef, allowing students to study its effects while providing visitors the opportunity to experience marine life in a dramatic environment.
