CONCEPT :: Dining as Theatrical Experience
Throughout an internship with MKG Productions, I worked on projects that ranged from large build-outs to small installations, such as this Coke tasting center for the New York Sweet Food and Wine Festival. I was involved in the concepting phases and was responsible for the coordination of the fabrication process. The project experienced immense budget cuts, calling for the designer team to explore alternate methods of fabrication while maintaining the integrity of the initial design. After a few trips to Harlem to oversee the fabrication and some on-site construction, the client was incredibly pleased with the end result.
