Design process behind POP retail display to showcase the high-end carbon fiber DAX hard hat. Early concepts were rendered as realistically as possible in the computer first, to evaluate designs before every needing to commit to costly fabrication work. After a series of wildly different steel display unit construction concept sketch renderings, one concept was chosen and taken into prototype phase — where prototypes were built, tested, and later evolved into a final fabricated welded steel production display piece. This display catches some serious attention amongst the vast sea of boring isle displays which are commonplace to industrial safety / hardware stores.
