Perhaps my favorite piece of work that I've done. This painting meant a lot to me when I first made it as I had just arrived to New York and was still slightly frightened by everything.
'Concrete Jungle'

This piece was playing on the idea of New York often being referred to as the Concrete Jungle. I decided to portray a sterotypical tourist in New York but as a jungle animal.
'Shattered Dreams'
Like many people I came to New York with perhaps too high expectations and dreams. At the time I made this painting I wasn't feeling too great about living in the city that never sleeps. Like the Statue of Liberty painting I decided to chose a typical New Yorker image and play with it - here the I Love New York logo.
