The Reese’s Outrageous Contest was launched in May 2018. Via Instagram, The Reese’s Brand called for candy lovers to post an outrageous act of Reese’s brand love with #ReesesOutrageous. I chose to show my Reese’s love by designing a fun mid-century modern styled house. Why mid-century modern? This was a design style I learned about in my history of interior design course. I have since fallen in love with this style and saw this contest as a great opportunity to use it. The Reese’s brand’s signature bright orange and yellow colors were the perfect starting point for this design. I was also able to include my favorite chair, the Eames Fiberglass Side Chair. As far as the competition, I received recognition for my designs. The best part was that some viewers thought the house was real!
