REI was increasingly crossing over into urban and travel markets and my concept supported that through photo selection. A fan of prototype illustrations, I exploited them to draw in the buyers and help support the gear development story.

REI public relations had never had a "look book" for media events. I developed a folder with a saddle-stitched insert spread to highlight the gear & apparel story and product insert sheets to feature the season's new offerings (and give the piece a longer shelf life).
