Salt and Pepper Shakers
In this project we designed a set of ‘salt and pepper shakers’ that aimed to be aesthetically balanced as individual forms while also working together compositionally as a pair. My salt shaker was made up of a rectilinear base with a chamfered edge while my pepper shaker is made up of rounder forms with its cylinder and sphere. Both figures rely on the edges of their angled cylinders/rods to balance. They are complimentary to each other in the dimensions, angles, and shapes that make up the overall forms.
