End of a Season - I drew inspiration for this piece from an article in Adbusters that spoke of the seasonal depression that always seems to take people over after the holiday festivities as winter seems to drag on and on. I chose the iconic symbol of the christmas tree and how it inspire so much joy for a time period and then is discarded and forgotten once the holidays have ended.
Little Red Riding Hood - This piece is a straightforward interpretation of the classic little red riding hood story for the 11th Annual Children's Book Society at the Detroit Public Library.
Let's Save Michigan - This is a poster designed for the "Let's Save Michigan" Poster competition. These posters were created to inspire people to volunteer. I chose the idea of painting murals to lift our spirits and illustrated a couple painting a sunny day on a billboard while the environment around them is very bleak with the detroit skyline in the background.
Mickey Rourke - This is a portrait of Mickey Rourke for the Hallway Blog.
Calvin and Hobbes - This is my interpretation of the classic Calvin and Hobbes cover "The Days Are Just Packed" for the Covered Blog.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack - This is a painting I did in honor of one of my favorite tv shows around, The Marvelous Misaventures of Flapjack. I painted this traditionally on wood and then touched it up in photoshop.

Retread - A piece I did for Trumbullplex Detroit. A show called "Retread" which had artists collect discarded tires and turn them into artwork. The pieces were then displayed and auctioned off for charity.
