Zushi Bowl Restaurant
This project is featured in the 2012 AIGA Chicago Snapshot. Born from two words drawn out of a hat, this restaurant took on a life and a shape of its own. The idea was there and like an adolescent child growing up so too did this restaurant. I was just there to merely pull back the layers to reveal the hidden layers below.
Everything you see was made from scratch (minus the bowl and lids). The integration of the chopsticks as the bag handle is very clever and serves a duel purpose. The high contrast of the colors of the logo and the rich black helps illuminate the logo as if it were shining.
