DSLAM Card
This is a module for a DSLAM chassis with four identical sub-modules. Mechanical aspecs of this project included the following: sheet metal design, PCBA component keepouts and height restrictions, sub-module mounting and card guides, tolerance analysis, thermal simulation and design, mother to daughter board connector selection and location, fibre and cable routing and management. The mechanical design was performed in SolidWorks. The thermal design was performed in Flotherm computational fluid dynamics software.
