I developed & produced a 2-part Purple VRS for Android web video / commercial on behalf of Purple Communications, a company focused on providing technology apps for the deaf. In Part 2 of the Video Series, we focus on a day in the life of a young bride to be as she heads out for a night on the town with her bridesmaids. We see how Purple VRS integrates into her life, making it easy for her to communicate with both hearing and deaf friends and family. Both Part 1 and Part 2 were shot all in 1 night (6pm to 6am) with an extensive cast, most of whom were deaf. The project had to be completed in just 5 days following the shoot date, and the budget was lean - yet the project demanded broadcast-quality footage and special effects (rotoscoping and pixel tracking) to integrate footage and screenshots into the Android phone during post-production.
