I produced this video wall on behalf of Carl Zeiss Meditec. Initially, Carl Zeiss had approached its PR firm to produce the video; however, just 7 days prior to the show date, their PR agency didn't even have the VO recorded, and they hadn't yet provided all of the media clips to their video editor. The editor realized that with so few days remaining, he had no ability to complete the project. The PR firm contacted me on the Saturday prior to the event date to see if I could take on the project with just 7 days remaining. I didn't want them to be left high-and-dry, so I agreed to take the project, which involved video editing as well as custom compositing and animation of sequences interspersed with the earned media footage. One of the challenges I encountered was that the video clips supplied by the media outlets were small, low-res files. So I needed to come up with a way to showcase the footage on the HD video wall even though the resolution of each video clip was not ideal.
