Gesichts Maske - This project was one of my final year degree projects. Gesichts Maske, a facial recognition system for Alzheimers patients, was designed with current facial recognition technology and has the potential to be manufactured. However, the focus of this design was to capture the struggle Alzheimer patients have to endure. Such as constant memory loss, schitzophrenia and loss of self.
The Mask offers the patient a new identity. An identity that aids them and not hinders them.
