The Observatory Cafe Bar Design

"Not Just a Cafe" was the title of this brief. The site was a disused archway at the side of Newcastle's Toffee Factory in the Ouseburn Valley.

My initial inspiration came from the word regeneration which the Ouseburn is a great area for. I then combined this with some work I was doing on the side for a Sheffield based tshirt company, which gave me the idea for a cafe with the added feature of having a place to redesign old clothes and furniture. There is a Cosmic vibe flowing throughout the space as I really wanted the cafe to stand out in Newcastle as a forward thinking and futuristic space.

This is the first project which features my work on 3D Studio Max.
