AHEAD - Emotional control Emotional design
AHEAD is an innovative vehicle that brings drivers a whole new driving experience. When people are skiing, surfing, riding motorcycle or bicycle, they usually use their whole body to control. We tried to transfer this kind of exciting experience to automotive design.
AHEAD - AHEAD provides drivers for moving forward to outside to feel the exciting driving experience in Riding Mode. Driver could control the vehicle by moving two hands and body to change center of gravity.
NISSAN PLUMA (Chief designer: Vincent Jiang, involved designer: Chihlin Chiang, Chun Kuei Liu) - Pluma is a new type four-wheel transportation, which is designed for outdoor activity lovers. It provides a different driving experience from ordinary automobiles - wide open, expose to nature, sun and wind.
Moving direction is controlled by a rudder on Pluma. Its position is easy to access for both passengers. The instrument panel on Pluma can be a table as well as a desktop, which provide wayfinding or travel planning functions.
NISSAN PLUMA (Chief designer: Vincent Jiang, involved designer: Chihlin Chiang, Chun Kuei Liu) - The animation was made by hyperDrive and edited in After Effects. The 3D models will switch to 2D illustrations in some key frame for highlight.
Arrival (Involved designers: Kung-Ta Yao, I-Ting Chung et al.)
Vehicle as Product - This design project took vehicle as product, and images of products or architectures were used on car styling. My concept was originated from two architectures in Spain. One was Casa Milà designed by architect, Antoni Gaudi. The other was Suites Avenue designed by architect, Toyo Ito.
Order in Disorder - Urban Personal Mobility in 2020 for Taipei - With the growing of city, population is raising, roads are becoming crowed, and parking spaces are becoming increasing rear. Scooters have been a popular and main commuter in Taiwan. The density is the largest in the world. It’s made a special street view and culture; however, numerous scooters not only cause traffic problem but pollution. This design proposed an innovative solution for Taipei city in 2020.
