Layers and Interlaces: Woven

This piece was done as an exploration of the weaving technique 'Multilayer'. This technique enables us to weave multiple layers of fabric at once. The idea here was to see if I could develop a 3D structure which is entirely woven. On the loom this is a flat structure and off loom it can be molded into a 3D structure as shown in the photographs.
