Chicago Model - by Charles Heydinger, Dan Everheart, Kyle Wade, and Ali Quazibard; plywood, rigid foam, and paint; 40'x4'; 2005.
I served as faculty team leader on research and construction of this massive scale model of a 3 mile section of Chicago's waterfront. Sponsored by the Netherlands Institute of Architecture, it traveled to Rotterdam where it was part of the Netherlands Architectural Biennial and it received special recognition for its contribution to the exhibition.
