The photoshop tools I used for this project were the paintbrush, the mixer brush tool, the eraser tool, and the eyedropper tool. I started off by using the eyedropper to select the color, and then I filled a portion that resembled that color using the brush tool. Then I used the mixer brush so that the color can blend with the color next to it. This created a more smooth and skin like feel. I used the eraser to clean up any smudges made by the mixer brush. When I made this portrait I wasn’t expecting it to come out that good, because I had never used photoshop to do something like this. Even though I wasn’t smiling in the portrait my personality did show. When you look at the portrait you see how much effort I put into this project, and that reveals I’m a hard worker. When it comes to my art projects I strive to show my best effort because I care about my work and I have big ambitions for my future.
