This is my bubble wrap dress design. Garment is made from three types of bubble wrap that I acquired from work since I help with receiving shipments. I thought it was a waste to just throw all that packing material away so I made it into a little spring tulip dress. I added some fake flowers and ribbon to add a little more color and make it more flirty fun.

This is my steel and cardboard design. The cardboard is more packing material that I saved from the trash at work and the 1/4" steel I got from my sculpture class. It is surprisingly flexible but I opted out of welding the pieces together because of the size of the dress and instead attached the pieces by curling the raw edges up and used a thin wire to hold pieces in place. For the bodice I used a heavy canvas with little flower accents and attached it to the frame with over 100 hand inserted eyelets and fishing line.
