Mind Your Manners is a Self Initiated Brief on teaching young children basic manners through the format of learning cards.
This project began by looking into etiquette, leading me onto basic manners, which finally lead me onto teaching manners to children.
I feel that children should be taught the importance of basic manners and it should be taught from a young age, incorporated into the National Curriculum.
I had originally wanted to create illustrated letters and create an 'Alphabet of Manners', but due to time restrictions, I used pre-made letters and placed them in relevant situations to illustrate the idea/manner.
The next stage of this project would have taken me onto creating a website and/or app, which would allow young children to interact and develop.
