Finished prototype for my project , this prototype is scaled 1:1 and the mechanism that was manufactured worked well but could be developed further to increase the efficiency.

Cot design
This project was set in my final A level work, it was a open brief project and i decided to design for need my main focus of my product was to help with mothers that just had a child can place the baby in the cot without bending down to place the baby within the cot were the bar across the product can be stepped on and with a small amount of force can then lift the frame were the mattress is laying on then lock into place so the mother can easily place the baby on the bed and then lifting the bar back up using their feet to move the platform back down to its original position.
