There are 37 million visually impaired in the world and 15 million are Indians 90% fall below poverty line with no provisions done by the govt the blind have been facing issues with money identification for a long time. Although the blind have developed skills to counter this problem but still the chances of error or getting cheated while doing routine purchases are still there So, the inspirational factor was designing money identification devices for the blind which are affordable and portable at the same time
