InDesign: Sailabration Flyer
This was a personal piece created from a photograph I took at the Baltimore Sailabration event held one week in June 2012. After the event, I decided to create a teaser, which could also be used as a mailer, to encourage people to attend the Sailabration event. The text and background colors were selected to complement the photo and also to invoke thoughts of water, boats, and other sea-related images. Also, the large text in the center of the flyer was meant to give the audience the highlights of the event in a quick fashion and the boat would be the connecting image to illustrate that Saliabration was coming.
