Golf 'n' Ties - Example of color correction.
Here is a photo of a friend of mine with Mike Ditka. Notice I made Ditka's face less red. Also removed all the shine from their faces.
A long exposure photo I took of an abandoned truck stop on the way to Vegas. I like the color in original, but with photoshop, I can achieve the actual color of the signs and more stars in the sky now.
Cousin at the Super Bowl. I corrected the color to remove the green cast. Then I moved the scoreboard over their heads. After that, I removed the blue halo around the white shirt and sharpened all the edges in the foreground while blurring the background to drive focus on the two figures in front. I also softened age lines on the faces and the shadow cast from the bill of the baseball cap.
It's tough to see all the changes made here. Lots of junk removed from the ground, a tow chain, piece of carpet. Bra straps removed, plus a nice face lift for some of the girls, I can't say who because I don't want to anger anyone...
