What is Graphic Design?
The concept for this project was to examine what the essence of graphic design meant to us. I wrote: Graphic Design is not about typography, mastering Photoshop or making something ‘look good’. It’s about the entirety of the world and creating social awareness. It’s about a responsibility that we as designers hold to create revolutionary change within our communities, and to invent the future. Graphic Design is about facilitating the forward process of humanity and livelihood. It’s design that can be either the death of society, or a re-birth of critical change.
