The main concept of the poster was to display the testimonies of war refugees, and the impact of war to their lives. The usage of a handwriting style of font was to create the feeling of reading the "real" testimonies of these violence survivors. The house that is upside down implies to the condition of the war refugee in which war has destroyed their life, and US soldiers have persecuted them. The house is in red to define violence in war.

The house in the normal position implies to the situation in which US non profit organizations are helping the war refugee. The house is in white to interpret the new beginning, and evoke purification of thoughts and action.
