Packard Wedding 2012
Letterpressed materials have always exhibited a sense of elegance and quality. When it came to my own wedding, I knew I wanted that same feeling to be evident when guests first opened the invitation. My husband, Illustrator Blake Packard, and I collaborated on a design, and once we were satisfied with the direction, we had a plate created. The invitations were then printed by the letterpress studio Flywheel Letterpress in Freeport, Illinois.
From the invitation to the return envelopes, special attention was paid to how the overall package came together. I’m pleased to say that the overall, the receipients appreciated our hard work.
