For our GIF Adobe Ilustrator/Photoshop project, we were assigned to create avatar profiles, wether it be self portrait or a simple iconic character. For my project I decided to use an original character of mine, a satyr named Agatha. The displayed gif is shown with her from a bust cut, pink background, beside a set of pomegranates and her shown in a excited emotion. During the process of making the gif, the major focus went into making almost all the elements (head, arms, hair, face) move fluently and together as the character would jump up/move. I tried to make the character make a two thumbs up gesture, but inevitably didn't complete it on requested time to make the animation seem so. One of the mistakes thus main lessons learned to keep in mind for the future, was to storyboard ahead for the animation aside from going freehand and no guide. With a planned thumbnail, the gif would have very much landed on the expectations for the final product.
