Friends of the Blackstone River: logo for a hands-on river advocacy group.

The Blackstone River Valley has a long & troubled history as the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution. It may be the first American river to be polluted beyond recognition. While still not swimmable or fishable, the Blackstone has come a long way from its condition in the 1960's. Restoring the river is a work in progress. I was happy to be able to help the Friends of the Blackstone River and Watershed Council rebrand themselves.
