The last graphic design job I had was a three month contract to make an 180 page catalog for Interlude Home INC. I created everything on these pages including the shadows for the furniture images, and the schematics for the pieces of furniture. This project was headed by myself and completed on time. In addition to creating these pages, I straightened fabrics in photoshop, and made sure the schematics were all to scale based on a single scale.
Continuing from the last image, the photographer used the wrong kind of lighting resulting in the shadows for the furniture pieces being absent, I spent weeks recreating shadows for up to four views of furniture pieces like sectionals, chairs, stools, beds, ect.
Three different programs were used in this project. Photoshop to make the shadows and edit the photos, including straightening seams and lighting up patchy fabric. Illustrator was used to create the schematics, and inDesign was used for the overall layout of the catalog.
When the project was completed over 53 items had two page spreads, and were laid out in the fashion that the higher ups had approved.
An example of the views I had to recreate shadows for. I used photoshop to make them look realistic.
Working HTML on Interlude Home website I set up to help show off when they were featured in online or magazine articles.
Another example of interactive HTML of a periodical showcase I set up. This time without the zoom.
Created a logo for a local jewelry business named "Beads and Baubles of love" Went through many trials of varied fonts and flourishes to create something the owner of the company loved.
I designed an updated letterhead for the company I previously worked for's use.
Another page of the catalog for Interlude Home Inc's fall catalog. I re-touched the photos of the stool, created shadows for all views, and made sure all type was correct. Everything on this page was placed there by me.
Chair and Sectional page of the catalog for Interlude Home Inc's fall catalog. I straightened the fabric of the chair in photoshop, created shadows for all views, and made sure all type was correct. Everything on this page was placed there by me.
Another page of Interlude Home's catalog, showing the variety of pieces I worked on. Again I created the shadows for this bed, created the schematics and made sure they were the correct scale. I created the entirety of this page as with the others.
