Pattern Book - This is a book showcasing a collection of digital patterns that I created. I thought that this book would be a fun, coffee-table kind of book. Each page is framed as if each design is a gallery piece. If you would like to see the pattern in full view, simply open up the pop-out window.
This to That Book - This is a collaboration project with other students in my class. The goal was to take one object and transform it into a completely different object. My assigned objects was to turn a cow into a balloon. I then took everyone's projects and turned them into a fun book. The cover was created with a fun color and design to go along with the theme.
Type Specimen Book - I had to create a type specimen book. A concept had to be introduced to make the book more engaging. Adobe Garamond Pro is used with a green-themed concept. Garamond is considered one of the most eco-friendly fonts because it uses the least amount of ink. Instead of making the concept content-driven, the concept is enhanced through the materials used. The cover is made of cork and the paper is handmade recycled paper. This book is also printed back-to-back so less paper is used.
