Eighties BOOM - As part of the 40th anniversary collection of era tees, the Junos wanted to take a look back through Canada at some of genres we all know and Love.
The Eighties were electric, bold and NEON!!! As the early stages of Hip hop were gaining momentum so too did it's fashion, and attitude.

The Nineties proved to be a wonderful collaboration with my studio partner Matthew Ward. We strove to capture the edgy almost grungy street feel present in dance, jungle, D&B and even hip hop as well.

Aiming to take a snapshot of the past decade I drew from the attitude of hipsters, used equalizer sound shapes as a cue to the digital age we live in and the high tops were the icing on the cake. Stylish kicks never go out of style.
