Urban Farming (Detroit, MI)
This project was in rough area of Detroit, and the mission was simple. It was to get the community together and teach them about farming. Our site was at a vacant lot at a main intersection and we had to funnel people to this site in a creative way. On this site i have indoor classrooms, indoor growing, plenty of outdoor planters and a system of paths to bring them to my facility. I also incorporated a large indoor/ outdoor farmers market for people to sell the goods they grow.
