This concept was born from personal experience. Last year I spent a month in Europe and travel through different countries, one of my friends did not have a universal power adapter, so we shared mine, we constantly had to take turns in charging our devices, and either him or me had to wake up in the middle of the night to change to the next one that needed to be charged. That made me wonder of a better way to do this.
When this concept was chosen by Quirky, I was asked to come up with questions that I would like to ask the community of Quirky followers, I presented 10 question that were meant to validate the concept itself. This first concept was presented to and accepted by Quirky on Aug 17, 2013
After a few discussions with quirky project lead, I decided to rethink the actual design and simplify it, this second concept was presented to Quirky community and accepted as the design direction to be taken for this Universal Power Adapter
This Final concept combines my second design direction and Quirky's visual language.

Universal Power+

Universal Power Adapters are great gadgets when going abroad, the problem is that most of them only charge one device at a time, which means longer time to charge all our devices. This concept was design so the traveler could charge 4 devices at the same time.
This project was selected by Quirky to be manufactured.
