This project challenges the idea of what the final product as a whole really is. I believe the process of making an object emits sounds, smells, textures, and many more senses that are part of the objects story.
For this piece I created a wooden portable speaker, and while in the process of making it, I recorded all the sounds made from the tools used.
I then turned the sounds into a descriptive song through digital sampling. The final piece was presented playing this song through the speaker.
