LightGuard - Graduation project. A product aimed at urban commuters to simultaneously protect them from road spray and alert other road users to their presence. Lighting modules are built into a set of full length mudguards. Power for the lighting is produced by an induction coil system as the user cycles. The lights are operated by a microprocessor which senses if the wheels are turning and whether light levels are low.
