Hurricane of Lions Website
Hurricane of Lions is the photography studio of my colleague Keith. Beneath the powerful compositions and artistic subject matter of his work lies a masterful arrangement of light, focus, tension, and texture.
The main goal of the website is to showcase his photography, so the visual design is simple, clean and minimal but not boring. The masthead and navigation bar is oriented vertically and on the left edge of the browser window maximizing the available vertical space. This optimizes the viewable area of the photography for browsing on smaller screens.
Keith has Estonian roots and the blue, grey and white colors of the website borrow from the color palate of the Estonian flag and coat of arms.
