Santamanía distillery required the brand identity and label design for its new, premium & artisan rum Cabeza de Vaca, which pays homage to the Spanish explorer and the union of Europe & the Americas.
Intricate illustrated elements were layered together to create an -in purpose- complex label that depicted the journeys of the Spanish explorer together with an engraved portrait and heraldic elements that surrounded the product name.
