The wall was envisioned to be multi-functional. It is composed of a layers of blocks stacked on top of each other, creating a undulating surface to allow for user interaction. 35cm x 35cm block were decided upon as this was an optimum seat height.

The project calls for the design of a wall using Grasshopper. The context was arbitrary and was to be freely interpreted. The concept is to create a wall composed of modular 35cm x 35cm blocks with varying depth. The full composition of 720 blocks reflects the terrain in the background while providing users with functional seating and stepping features. Another feature involves the introduction of openings in every block. These openings vary according to the intensity of incident light, improving shade while maintaining visual connection with the exterior.
