Large Seraphim Angel - Bethel Church Production Work - Christmas Spectacular 2010 - This is a concept design I created for a large 15ft angel prop for use in our Christmas Show's nativity scene. The prop required an actor to be placed inside, as the angel prop was wheeled on stage in a kneeling position. The actor, wearing a harness attached to a simple mechanism, would stand up and activate the mechanism, causing the massive prop to stand upright.

Flying Starlight Angel - Bethel Church Production Work - Christmas Spectacular 2010 - This was an unused concept for our Christmas Show's nativity scene. The concept involved a large angel prop that would slowly float out over our nativity scene. The prop featured a fiber-optic star field embedded into the train of the angel, which was also attached to the opening the angel would fly out of.

Tiki Torches - Bethel Church Production Work - Christmas Spectacular 2010 - This was a concept created for a 'Christmas In Hawaii" segment of our 2010 Christmas show. The challenge was to transform a stage, decorated with Christmas trees and decorations, and make it look like a tropical paradise using a few hand props, stage props and lighting effects.
This was an idea to create some elaborate Tiki Torches using professional "Fire-bowl" lighted fans.

These are a selection of works I completed for a Church Production Team I am a director for. Each year, Bethel Church holds two musical productions as a free performance to the public. During my time as a director, our shows have attracted single performance audiences of over 26,000 people. It is truly a joy to be a part of something that gives me such creative freedom and allows me to work with such a great group of volunteers to make the dream a reality!
