Trees

The Bible uses trees many times in symbolic terms. One is in Psalm 1:3. When talking about people who do not take advice from wicked people or associate with scoffers but delight in God's law; they are likened to trees "planted by streams of water, A tree that produces fruit in its season, The foliage that does not wither. And everything he does will succeed." It would be nice if everything we do would be successful; it can be if we find out what God expects of us and apply it to our life.
Another Bible scripture I like about trees is Isaiah 65:22. It says: "They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full." Many trees live for thousands of years. And God promises everlasting life to those who get to know him and his son. (John 17:3)
