Velomobile, Dash
My masters project.
A velomobile is an aerodynamic recumbent lightweight bicycle. The aerodynamic shell makes it much faster than regular bicycles and also shields you from bad weather. I see it as the perfect choice for commuters, since it is cheaper than a car, it can go past traffic and it doesn’t pollute.
During the design process I spend the most time trying to create a beautiful shell with personality that looks both fast and safe, while keeping the aerodynamics intact. Ergonomics was also of high importance in this project, while other things are quite loosely defined.
