Honoring the Escanaba
To honor the USCGC Escanaba of the U.S. Coast Guard, I was hired to create a commemorative mass card and poster, highlighting the fallen captain of this gallant ship and its only two survivors during WWII. The poster version at the bottom features the survivors, the fallen ship, and adds one of its modern commanders, now-veteran Michael Turdo, as well as the new ship bearing the same name.
